The Clerical Team
Our clerical team are trained to offer an efficient service when dealing with patients at front desk or on the telephone. Our Doctors have asked them to ask a series of questions so that we ensure that every patient receives the most appropriate treatment as quickly as possible.
In addition, we have specially trained staff members who manage important services such as repeat prescriptions, making referrals and keeping patient records up to date.
Any one of our helpful team will be happy to help you with your queries.
Advanced Clinical Practitioners
Ian Rooney
Amy Dennis
Paramedic Practitioner
Nicolas Herranz Garcia
The Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioner and Duty Doctor run our Urgent Care Clinics
Urgent Care Clinic is for urgent problems that cannot wait for the next routine appointment with a Doctor. In order to assist your medical needs the receptionists are required to ask you several questions to ensure that you are booked with the most appropriate clinician. The information you provide will also help the clinicians to prioritise your call accordingly.
Urgent medical cases will be seen by a doctor or a paramedic who jointly run the Urgent Care Clinic. Please be aware that we cannot specify which Clinician you will see. Due to the variable nature of the cases in the Urgent Care Clinic, there may be some waiting time to see the clinician. Please ask the receptionist if you would like an update on the likely waiting time.
Whether a patient is seen by a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Paramedic or Doctor is dictated by clinical need rather than patient choice and we ask our patients to work with us on this to help reduce overall waiting times.
This service is available on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) and offers telephone and face-to-face consultations if clinically appropriate; these can be booked on the day by contacting Reception throughout the day on 01825 766055.
For training and monitoring purposes, please be aware that all telephone calls to and from the surgery are recorded.
Clinical Pharmacist
Hemal Chudasama
Hemal has joined the Practice and taken responsibility for ensuring there is an effective medicines management system in place, including cost-effective prescribing. He works as an Independent Prescriber within the clinical team providing advice and support for both patients and his other colleagues. He will undertake medication reviews with patients, deal with prescribing queries and carry out assessments with high-risk patients.
Nurse Practitioner

Practice Nurses
Samantha Thompson RN - Nurse Manager
Angie Veysey RN - Clinical Lead Nurse

Patients who have not been seen within three years or are 75 years and over may request a health check with a practice nurse.
Healthcare Assistants
Mell Walker, Jo Botting & Bella Moore undertake a range of medical services at the practice, including specialised clinics. Examples of some of the services the HCAs offer are blood tests, pill checks, INR monitoring, ECGs, ear syringing etc
