THE MEDICAL RECEPTIONISTS
Our medical receptionists are trained to ask the right questions so that we ensure that every patient receives the most appropriate treatment as quickly as possible. In addition, we have specially trained people who manage important services such as prescriptions, making referrals and patient records. Just ask one of our receptionists who will be able to help.
The receptionists are available to advise patients:
- In person - Monday 7.30am - 6.30pm; Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am - 6.00pm; Wednesday and Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm
- On the telephone - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6.00pm
The Paramedics run the Urgent Care Clinic with the Support of the Duty Doctor
Urgent Care Clinic is for urgent problems that cannot wait for the next routine appointment with a Doctor. In order to assist your medical needs the receptionists are required to ask you several questions to ensure that you are booked with the most appropriate clinician. The information you provide will also help the clinicians to prioritise your call accordingly.
This service is available on a daily basis (Monday - Friday) and offers telephone and face-to-face consultations; these can be booked on the day by contacting Reception throughout the day on 01825 766055. For training and monitoring purposes, please be aware that all telephone calls to and from the surgery are recorded.

The nurses run general nursing surgeries as well as specialised clinics. The practice only carries a minimal stock of dressings. If specialised dressings are required, patients are advised that a prescription will be raised and they will be required to pay at the pharmacy.
Patients who have not been seen within three years or are 75 years and over may request a health check with a practice nurse.
DEPUTY PRACTICE MANAGER
Mrs Sam Roberts
Liz Richards and Bella Richards support the practice nurses in their duties.
Please note we are closed for staff training every Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm.
