Who Can Help Me

We are working hard to reduce the length of time patients have to wait to book a routine GP appointment. Please help us to help you, and ask yourself if a GP appointment is the best way forward or if a quicker solution would be to see your Pharmacist or whether Minor Injuries would be able to assist.

Your pharmacist may be able to help with:

  • skin conditions, such as mild acne and mild eczema
  • coughs and colds, including nasal congestion and sore throat
  • minor cuts and bruises
  • constipation and haemorrhoids (piles)
  • hay fever and allergies
  • aches and pains, such as headaches, earache and back pain
  • indigestion, diarrhoea and threadworms
  • period pain and thrush
  • warts and verrucas, mouth ulcers and cold sores
  • athlete's foot
  • nappy rash and teething

Uckfield Minor Injuries Unit (MIU)

Go to Uckfield Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) for:

  • Acute limb injuries including fractures, wounds, sprains and strains (excluding potential hip or thigh fractures)
  • Minor head injuries including wounds to head and face (excluding children under 1year and those with associated neck injury, loss of consciousness or any vomiting)
  • Wounds caused by trauma
  • Foreign bodies in eyes ear or nose
  • Rib injuries
  • Minor back injuries (excluding chronic conditions or major trauma)
  • Insect and animal bites and stings
  • Burns and scalds
  • Removal of splinters
  • Suturing (stitch up) wounds (excluding eyes, nose and lips)
