Opening Hours

SURGERY OPENING HOURS

Monday 7.30am - 6.30pm
Tuesday 8.30am - 6.30pm
Wednesday 7.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm- 6.30pm
Thursday 8.30am - 6.30pm
Friday 7.30am - 6.30pm

TELEPHONE ACCESS

Our telephone lines are open between 08.30 to 18.00. On Wednesdays between 1 and 2pm the surgery is closed for staff training.

EXTENDED OPENING HOURS

We offer some additional appointments in excess of our contractual requirements. These can be pre-booked (subject to availability) for the following times.

Monday 7.30- 8.00am and 6.30-8.00pm
Wednesday 7.30- 8.00am
Friday 7.30- 8.00am

HERE Improved Access Appointments

HERE is a not for profit social enterprise organisation commissioned by High Weald Lewes Havens (HWLH) Clinical Commissioning Group to provide evening and weekend appointments to HWLH patients. Some evening and weekend appointments are available to book in via our reception team. In order to utilise one of these appointments, you will be required to give your consent for 'HERE' to access and add to your medical record. 

Subject to clinical availability, appointment times will be between 6.30pm and 8.00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 8am to 12pm.

Again subject to availability, Sunday appointments will be held from St Andrews Surgery, Southover Rd, Lewes, BN7 1US 9am to 1pm.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The Surgery will be closed all day on the following dates:

Monday 25 May

Monday 31 August

Friday 25 December

Friday 1 January 2021

 

PROTECTED LEARNING TIME

The High Weald and Lewes Haven Clinical Commissioning Group specify which times the practice are to undertake protected learning time. Accordingly, the surgery will be closed at 1pm on the following days:

Thursday 11 June 2020

Tuesday 8 September 2020

Thursday 12 November 2020

OUT OF HOURS

If you require URGENT attention outside normal hours, please telephone NHS 111 (simply dial 111). In the event of a technical failure or any other difficulty which prevents you from contacting South East Care, you should dial 999.

For minor injuries you may attend Uckfield Hospital between 8.00am and 8.00pm daily.
